Wherever we are, you find us, call us by name and bring us to your presence. Now that we are gathered here, we join our voices and prayers together for all your people, for all your creation that waits for your redemption.
We Pray for all who are silenced, marginalized, who sleep outside, are hungry, poor, lost or alone, all who are without meaningful work or fair pay. We pray for those contemplating difficult decisions that you would bring clarity. Bless all who cry to you. Come quickly!
We pray for those who are sick in body mind or spirit who are in special need of your healing. Be with those undergoing medical treatment, those awaiting test results or further surgery. Restore wholeness to your broken people.
We remember all who have lost their lives in battle. We boldly pray for an end to all conflicts and bloodshed throughout the world. Bring about a just peace in Syria, Afghanistan, Israel/Palestine and any home that knows violence. And as your Son commanded, we pray for our enemies.
We pray for all who look for you but do not always find you among your followers - those who are hungry for your Gospel of love, justice and reconciliation. Speak to them, oh God, in ways that we cannot. Forgive us when we fall short and do a disservice to the one we follow. In Jesus' name, Amen.
