I couldn't imagine doing ministry without partners. In fact, Presbyterian pastors literally can't do much of anything without working closely with a group of elders.
I'm not talking just about collaborating with congregation members to make things run smoothly. I'm also talking about reaching beyond the walls of the church and building significant partnerships with the community.
We work with many organizations near and far. There's even a page on our website listing our friends, partners and allies.
We are blessed with the opportunity to pray with people at our FOCUS worship services, work alongside them at the South End Earth Day clean up, and even stay in the homes of our partners in Ghana.
These connections show me that God is busy at work all around me in ways I cannot even imagine. The face of God shines brightly in our partners, and I'm blessed when my eyes are opened and I recognize Christ.
